2. What data do we process?
When you request a transfer or get in touch, we process the data needed to handle your request. This includes in particular:
- First and last name
- Phone number and/or email address
- Pick-up and destination addresses (hotel, street, house number, airport details)
- Date, time, number of passengers, luggage details
- If provided: flight number, return-trip request, child seat or stopover notes
- The content of messages sent via WhatsApp, phone or email
- IP address and browser information stored briefly in server logs for technical reasons (by the hosting provider)
The booking forms on this website do not store your data on our server; they prepare the message on your device and pass it to WhatsApp for sending. Until you send the message via WhatsApp, that content does not reach us.
3. Why do we process your data?
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Receiving, answering and planning transfer or taxi requests
- Providing price and availability information
- Communicating with you before or during the ride
- Meeting legal obligations (for example bookkeeping or invoice records where required)
- Ensuring the security and technical operation of the website
4. Legal basis
Our processing relies on the following bases (GDPR Article 6 / DSGVO Art. 6):
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — planning and carrying out the requested transfer (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Legitimate interests — website security, following up requests, fraud prevention (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- Legal obligation — bookkeeping and tax records, where required (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR)
- Explicit consent — only in separately requested cases where you have agreed (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
5. WhatsApp, phone and email
Requests are received mainly via WhatsApp, phone or email. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. When you send a message via WhatsApp, your data is also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. WhatsApp servers may be located outside the European Union.
If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can also reach us by phone or email: Contact.
6. Sharing of data
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only where needed to provide the service, with:
- Communication providers (WhatsApp / phone / email services)
- Web hosting and technical infrastructure providers
- Competent authorities where there is a legal obligation
A transfer to third countries may arise solely from the nature of the communication or technical service used (for example WhatsApp). In that case it takes place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
7. Storage period
Data is stored for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet any statutory retention duties. After the active booking or ride has ended, it is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period unless a bookkeeping or legal duty applies. WhatsApp conversations can remain on your device and in the WhatsApp system for as long as you do not delete the history.
8. Cookies and analytics
At its core, this website is a static information and request page. On your first visit, a notice about cookie settings is shown. Your preference is stored locally in your browser. Beyond what is technically necessary, we deliberately do not use marketing cookies or third-party tracking tools. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, and depending on the circumstances, you have the following rights:
- Access (to learn which data is processed)
- Rectification
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection (in particular to processing based on legitimate interests)
- Withdrawal of consent (for consent-based processing; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out)
To exercise your rights, write to beykartaxikg@gmail.com or use the contact page.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): www.dsb.gv.at.
10. Updates
We may adapt this privacy policy to legal or technical changes. The current version is always published on this page. Where changes are material, we will try to inform you appropriately.
